TWO MONTHS!!!!

I can't believe that my little man is already two months old. The time has gone by way too fast. I go back to work soon and before I know it he'll be huge and practically taking care of himself. He already is rolling from his belly to his back and pushes himself around with his feet.

Pullman

This is my sister's cute house. Beth and Jeremy invited Scott, Roy and me there so spend the fourth of July. Of course they had alterior motives; they wanted to use Scott as slave labor and have him put a roof on their carport.
Jeremy helped a little, just kidding, they both did lots of work.
Since we had the boy cousins together, Beth and I used the opportunity to give them a bath together. They played the usual boy game and kicked each other in their little packages. Probably why they were both crying by the time they got out.
Some of Beth and Jeremy's friedns invited us over to their condo to swim and eat pizza. Tucker was a good boy and slept in his carseat so his parents could swim, Roy and I sat out and watched everyone else, though I didn't mind in the least. It was shaded at the pool and Roy was good and just watched his Papa swim.
And of course since it was the 4th of July we did lots and lots of fireworks. We went to the friends parents' house that we had met swimming. Between everyones purchases it was quite the show. Especially since we were in Washington and didn't have to abide by the stupid Oregon laws of nothing over 8 feet.
It was a really fun weekend for both of us. Scott worked really hard, but enjoyed getting to work with wood connecting the carport roof to their house. I played with my sister and got to eat lots of good food. Beth marinated the best steaks ever, too bad she can't remember what type they were. Our plan was to come home Sunday, but Scott wasn't going to leave until the roof was done. They finished Monday in the early evening. That was lucky for me, because Sheila and her girls had just gotten there for their visit and I was able to get to play Phase 10 with her and Beth while the girls played. However the game took us hours between pausing to start dinner and take care of crying babies. A great little holiday weekend!

Baby Einstein

This is my baby, and yes, he's watching TV. Well to be exact, it's Baby Einstein, which is helping his brain developement. More importantly though, he's being good and quiet. If I wasn't busy taking pictures, I could have been doing something productive. But he was too cute and I couldn't resist watching him watch his movie!

Megan loves Roy

Everytime Megan comes over, she has to hold Roy. She whines and whines until she gets her turn. It's so cute, as soon as she spots him, her eyes light up and it's a beeline for the "BABY".
Roy does pretty good as long as he's been fed and is in a content moment.
Unfortunately, once Megan is holding him, his content moment goes away!

Failed

The test didn't bring back anything. So apparently I can do a new post, but I have no way of putting any pictures or anything on. Hopefully I can figure it out soon, because Roy is getting big and I have lots of cute pictures of him to put on.
I'm testing this post, I tried something with my blog and it made all my icons on my post editor disappear. So this is to only see if this actually posts or not, because the problem is only on my laptop. My blog is completely normal on any other computer.

CAMPING!!!

These are a few pictures of a camping trip we took to Spruce Run with Scott's family. We went and bought ourselves a ginormous tent (we intend to fill it with lots of kids eventually), loaded up the truck and were off for two nights. Roy did really well. It was huge advantage having Grandma Sue there, I basically only had to feed him and go to bed with him at night. Of course there was all the packing and unpacking I had to do for both my men, but it was worth it. The weekend was a ton of fun, Scott canoed down the Nehalem river a few miles over and over again, he set crawdad traps for a crawdad feed, and I got to just relax and not worry about all the things I should be doing. Weekends away from home start and end busy, but the middle is wonderful!

A 1st Father's Day!

For our first Father's Day I think it was successful. Roy had gotten Scott the "Papa's Special Day" and "Just Me and My DAD" so they could sit and read together. Scott was excited to get presents, but wasn't as excited that I had to document the occasion with pictures. I think that he was pretty thrilled with his first Father's Day as a father though. I used the opportunity to use buying him some clothes he needed as gifts! Roy watched him open his presents with all the enthusiasm he could muster.
